About Painful Convctions

History

Painful Convictions was first created in early 1995 under the name "NAILS Links." Back in those days the site was no more than a simple link list. In time the site grew, and in the fall of 1996 the domain, 9inchnails.com, was graciously donated by Radiks Internet Access, now an EarthLink company. Since then, the site has greatly expanded and went through several metamorphoses until it became what you see here today. In around 2000, the site was sold to MusicFans.com. While MusicFans continued to employ the original Webmaster for upkeep, the company couldn't survive the fall of the dot com's and the site fell back into complete control of the original Webmaster.

Painful Convictions seemingly never-ending "Black Period" finally ended in 2007, hopefully never to return.
