About NIN Source (Nine Inch Nails Website)
History
In early 1995 when this site was first conceived, it was no more than a mere link site known as "Nails Links". In time the site grew, and in the fall of 1996 the domain, 9inchnails.com, was graciously donated by Radiks Internet Access, now an EarthLink company. The site name was eventually changed to Painful Convictions and a message board was added that eventually became Perfect Isolation . In 2000, the site was sold to MusicFans.com, a company whose goal was to gather musician based fan sites. While MusicFans continued to employ the original Webmaster for upkeep, the company couldn't survive the fall of the dot com's and the site fell back into complete control of the original Webmaster. Since then, the site has greatly expanded and went through several metamorphoses until it became what you see here today. This year marks yet another metamorphoses when the site was once again redesigned and renamed "NIN Source".
