Clive Barker

A notable British horror and fantasy author. In the song "Sin" on Nine Inch Nails' first release Pretty Hate Machine, Trent Reznor used the phrase "stale incense, old sweat, and lies" which originated in Barker's story "In The Hills, The Cities" from his Books of Blood collection.
