David "Rave" Ogilvie who, among many other things, produced Marilyn Manson's 2nd album and was considered the 4th member of Skinny Puppy. Reznor was a huge fan of the band's music from the beginning and has mentioned that the Skinny Puppy track "Dig It" was the primary inspiration for Nine Inch Nails' "Down In It."
