with brutal force, with a leather-boot intrusion this album widened my perception of art. trent killed himself recording it, tore up his senses and let them bleed over us, the spectators, the witnesses or his life-art-pain. this is not simply an act of a genius; this is godly. the only possible reaction is worship. this album is the embrace of death of life, the anguish resulting from the mutual annihilation of the two. it is a heart plucked out of a chest and shown in the moment it is still throbbing with overwhelming, blinding pain, pain that naturally takes the shape of art and flows so freely that it immediately reaches god. the pinnacle, the absolute art. an act of god.

This album saved my life.
I was so low,
And Trent helped me get through it with all the songs on this incredible alum.
I tried
I gave up.
Throw it away
