So NIN is not involved.

Hmm either its depeche mode and U2 or the cure and U2.

btw I guess this tread can move since NIN may not be involved in this song.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. Electric word, life. It means forever and that's a mighty long time. But I'm here to tell you there's something else - the afterworld. A world of never-ending happiness. You can always see the sun, day or night. So when you call up that shrink in Beverly Hills, you know the one, Dr. Everything'll-Be-All-right, instead of asking him how much of your time is left, ask him how much of your mind, baby. 'Cause in this life, things are much harder than in the afterworld. This life you're on your own. And if the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy - punch a higher floor.

OMGZORZ it must be the long awaited collaboration between Tren and Robert Smith!!1!!1!1!!!eleventyone.....

See everyone....Tren does keep his promises.....

:(

...but seriously though....it is most likely not by any of the aformentioned artists.....if it came from P2P (or any other place for that matter) it is most likely a mislabeling issue.

this site claims "INTO a darkened room" is a depeche mode song... but seeing as how it's one of the only one's to state that, i doubt it.
leo's lyrics also had lyrics to it... but once again... not much info
http://www.depressiv...c.php?LFD_NR=12
if you searched google groups you'd see that it comes up in various u2 and cure threads as well... and they all agree it's not legit.

it's a misnamed file.

did you try checking the id tag? usually the true file name is found within (sometimes near the website)

edit:
skid row does have a song called "in a darkened room" on their 'slave to the grind' album.

Skid row's version and the unknown Dm,NIN,U2,TC version are different.

Edit: The real name for the DM,NIN,U2,TC version is "Into a Darkened room" not "In a Darkened room"

Well I looked for lyrics to a song called "Into A Darkened Room" and I got results that it was a Depeche Mode song, but I only found two websites with lyrics to the song....

http://www.lyricsdow...oom-lyrics.html

and...

http://www.leoslyric...=6jwOmoR6OmU%3D

However, I don't believe it to be a true Depeche Mode song for 3 reasons:

1. The lyrics these two websites give, as one can see, are conflicting.

2. I checked up on the entire Depeche Mode Discography (including rare songs and remixes) and there isn't ever a mention of a song called "Into A Darkened Room"

3. No other websites even mention this as being a Depeche Mode song.

I could have *MAYBE* overlooked something, but I was very diligent in my searching and have once again come to the conclusion that this song isn't by any of the artists in question.

I am pretty sure it's a mislabeling issue....but check if either lyrics website has the same lyrics as the lyrics in the song...and if it does...we can go from there :)

-Thank you and goodnight
