not only would a glass table seem structurally unsound to me, I imagine it would be hard not to leave incriminating ass prints. Or, at least palms and knees prints. You get my drift.

I remember the slang differential now:

Hoover = specifically a drug reference, i.e. sucking stuff up your nose
Electrolux = sucking at most things, but most often used as an oral sex analogy.

I've never heard Hoover used as a reference to coke. Now that I'm up on my drug lingo for the month...

the glass table is the giveaway.

Ya, it was the mention of the glass table helped me figure out which HOOVER function was going on.

Hmmm, I have not had any sexual escapades upon a glass table. Not that I never had the opportunity, since I used to own a glass dining room table, but people eat there later!

windex.

That's a bit risky, eh? I mean, I've screwed on tables, sure, but they were sturdy tables. Mostly conference tables. You could hide under those puppies in an earthquake and likely survive falling debris and whatnot. But a glass table. . .well. . .you're never quite sure how much jiggling they can withstand, you know?

That's always been a fantasy of mine, lucky girl! Did someone angrily sweep all of the papers off said conference table, too!
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. Electric word, life. It means forever and that's a mighty long time. But I'm here to tell you there's something else - the afterworld. A world of never-ending happiness. You can always see the sun, day or night. So when you call up that shrink in Beverly Hills, you know the one, Dr. Everything'll-Be-All-right, instead of asking him how much of your time is left, ask him how much of your mind, baby. 'Cause in this life, things are much harder than in the afterworld. This life you're on your own. And if the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy - punch a higher floor.

Windex, my fanny!!!!

Yes, windex. Well, the whole idea of doing that HOOVER function gives me plenty to add to my inventory for the future.

I soooo thought of you last night while I watched "Sean McNamara" because it had a great desk-clearing moment. And they've got glass desks, so I guess they are some sturdy glass tables somewhere.

ah trent and his many unfinished projects...

-True-

I’m still interested in hearing a female collaboration between Trent and whomever. There are MANY female artists I can think of (some not so well known) that have that Rhythm and Blues- “soulfulness” he once mentioned. Don't worry, I won't post a "laundry list" of names. Oh well, maybe when he's done with NIN. Of course, an instrumental album would be nice as well.

Just a friendly tip.

Oh, I’m sorry!

I guess the following:
“Trent sure likes his dark chocolate”
“Trent and Jessica Simpson”
“Trent’s Depression”
… and so on, are more current and on topic.

Thanks for the "friendly tip."

They're current, sure, but anything that hasn't been discussed in over a month (i.e. posted in) is considered old and therefore. . .well, not really of interest to the regulars. So yeah, you're gonna get "friendly tips," and all the sarcasm in the world (*cue tamborine*) isn't going to do anything but make you feel better about yourself, I suppose.

well, if it exists, it would have to be 1000% better than 'just say yes', her collaboration with the cure. I still haven't blotted it out of my mind.

lol I think Turtle saw her once at a party and she was playing the part of a Hoover on the glass table all night. ;-p

Eh, reviving old threads is sort of lame, but at least she had something relevant to say.

No, but dude, you just resurrected a three and a half-year-old thread.
